The City’s on-line application process is administered by a third party (NeoGov/GovernmentJobs), therefore some of the Internet Explorer security settings are likely disrupting the application process. Making one of the changes noted below to Internet Explorer, should fix the problem: Open Internet Explorer and select > Tools > Internet Options > Privacy tab:
1. Under Settings, change the “slider” from Medium to Low. Click ‘OK’; or
2. Under Settings, select the ‘Advanced’ button. Check the ‘Override automatic cookie handling’ checkbox First-Party cookies: ‘Accept’. Third-Party cookies: ‘Accept’. Check ‘Always allow session cookies’. Click ‘OK’
