Join La Palma’s safe, family-oriented alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat! Kids and families can choose from a variety of activities such as the costume contest for infants to 6th graders with special prizes in each division. This year’s Halloween Carnival will feature carnival games, an area for children under the age of 5 to play games, and those who dare to find their way through a scary maze! There is no cost to attend. Food and drink will be available for purchase brought to you by the Kiwanis Club of La Palma.
In the event of rain, the Carnival will be cancelled.
The Costume Contest is held at the Central Park Pavilion with the following times / categories:
6:30 p.m. | 2 years old and under
6:50 p.m. | 3-5 years old
7:10 p.m. | 1st - 3rd grades
7:30 p.m. | Family
7:50 p.m. | 4th - 6th grades
Community groups, organizations, and individuals are invited to volunteer to be a carnival booth attendant, serve as a greeter, or assist in the operation of the scary maze. The deadline to apply is: Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Your help is greatly appreciated!
