Flushing
In order to maintain the high standard of water quality desired by La Palma and its customers, water mains are periodically flushed, as necessary. This is done by flowing area fire hydrants to remove any possible impurities or sediments that may be present in the pipelines.
Advanced Notice
Notification signs are placed, 24 hours in advance, in areas where flushing is scheduled to take place.
Water Quality Issues
Should you experience any water quality issues during periods of scheduled flushing, please call the Public Works Department at (714) 690-3310 and Water Division staff will be immediately dispatched to investigate and remedy the problem.
