The City of La Palma would like to congratulate Maria and Refugio Salazar of 7511 Keith Circle for winning the 2019 Spring Home Spotlight Award!

The Salazar family have been residents of La Palma for 33 years! For the past two years they have worked hard to renovate the interior and exterior of their home. It was Mrs. Salazar’s dream for her home to look this beautifully.

Winter 2018/2019 Home Spotlight Winner

The City of La Palma would like to congratulate Mic and Dee Vincenti for winning the 2018/19 Winter Home Spotlight Award!

The Vincenti’s have lived in their home since 1988, a little over 30 years. They were one of the first homes in their tract to install the red-tile roofs since all the homes had wood-shake roofs from the late 1970s. Over the years, they’ve put in central air-conditioning, an oak staircase, porcelain tile, custom closets, and new windows. Most recently they’ve customized their backyard to include a patio cover that gives the outdoor living and entertainment space they wanted. They’ve updated the kitchen and bathrooms as well as installed wooden floors. With a combination of a tank less water-heater, solar panels, artificial grass and pavers in the back, they are doing their part to protect the environment.

We thank Mic and Dee Vincenti for contributing to La Palma's vibrant city!

Fall 2018 Home Spotlight Winner

The City of La Palma would like to congratulate residents Rashmi and Ami Patel for winning the 2018 Fall Home Spotlight Award!

Rashmi and Ami have two daughters and have been residents of La Palma for the past 22 years. They had their front lawn landscaped in 2009 and have maintained a beautiful lawn since. The added stone work in the driveway compliments the brick work around the home. Along with, the added patio area reduces the water use of their home. The Patels were pleased to receive the Home Spotlight Award for their home.

Summer 2018

Summer 2018 Home Spotlight Winner

The City of La Palma would like to congratulate the residents on Shirley Drive for winning the 2018 Summer Home Spotlight Award!

The residents have lived in La Palma since 1990.  Their home has been renovated from 'curb to backyard fence' starting in late 2014 and ending Spring 2016.  The front yard uses a lot of concrete and stone work, with small patches of grass that require very little water. The new trees and shrubbery are drought tolerant. The same applies to my back yard, which was totally gutted and replanted with the same type of plants and hardscape. The roof was recently replaced.  During the remodel the interior of the house was redone with all new plumbing, electrical, kitchen and bathrooms, ceiling fans in most rooms, which have really reduced the need to have the AC on, and, custom cabinets and woodwork throughout.

Spring 2018 Home Spotlight Winner

The City of La Palma would like to congratulate resident Gilbert Granger of Shirley Drive for winning the 2018 Spring Home Spotlight Award!

Mr. Granger has resided in La Palma for the past 50 years. Gilbert's son, Hugh Granger, recently updated the front lawn with a desert landscape of drought tolerant plants, and included a crystal blue rock water-less waterfall down the middle of the front lawn.  Congratulations Gilbert Granger!
