Water Division

The Water Division is responsible for providing La Palma’s 16,000 residents and businesses with safe, high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds all quality standards set forth by both the state and federal government. The water utilized by La Palma is primarily pumped directly from the local groundwater basin managed by the Orange County Water District (OCWD) and supplemented by imported water purchased from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MET) through the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC).
