The Maintenance Division provides a wide variety of services to the La Palma residents. We strive to provide courteous and prompt service. The Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining and providing public facilities including:

Landscaping
The Maintenance division cares for 2,426 trees and 33 areas of turf and landscaped areas. The Maintenance Division is also responsible for maintaining public facilities including: landscaped medians, street trees, wall vines, City parks, and City right-of-ways.

Street Maintenance

Streets
Maintenance of La Palma's 31 miles of streets is the responsibility of the Maintenance Division.

Storm Drain

Storm Drains
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City’s 4.88 miles of storm drains and channels. The systems are checked and cleaned yearly.

Street Trees
The City maintains all City trees on a scheduled basis through its regular maintenance program and contractual services. We are dedicated to keeping the City of La Palma beautiful. Citywide, the Maintenance Division cares for approximately 8866 trees.

Sewer

Wastewater (Sewers)
The City's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 28.3 miles of sewers and over 631 manholes. The system is checked and cleaned annually.
