Thank you for visiting the La Palma Police Department website. My name is Ed Ethell and it is my honor to serve as the 9th Chief of Police for the City of La Palma. The La Palma Police Department has a long-standing tradition for providing quality service to our community. We have implemented policing strategies that are efficient and effective. And we have produced successful programs to address community concerns. A great deal of our success results from working with the community in a strategic partnership designed to preserve the quality of life long associated with La Palma.
Together with our active community members, we are making a difference. La Palma residents, businesses and visitors are safer from crime today then at any other time in memory. The schools in La Palma are safe places for our children to learn. People want to come to La Palma to live, work, play and shop. The members of the police department are committed to continuing to make La Palma a safe and vibrant community.
