If the City’s revenues were reduced by 20%, would you support the formation of a Citizen Committee to recommend what programs should be cut?

A Citizens committee would be in lime with La Palma's concept. It should be a large enough committee to allow good representation of various areas of our population.

Yes, City Counsel should not cut anything without resident input.

Absolutely. We need to make sure that we ask a broad array of people. If you ask someone who uses a program or service if they believe the program is important they are likely to say "yes". If you ask someone who uses a program that costs them nothing they are going to say "yes" as well. We need to know the priorities of the majority of La Palmans. That information is essential to making informed decisions. When cuts are necessary, someone is going to be disappointed. Lets try to make sure we have a rational and factual basis to explain our decisions to those who are disappointed. We owe them that.
