If the City’s revenues were reduced by 20%, assuming the cost is the same, would you support cutting large one day events (like the Fitness Run for Fun) or a group of year round programs (like Fit-n-Fun, aquatics, and youth sports)?

I would think that recurring events would be more effective to bringing our community closer together since they meet regularly.

I believe cutting large one day events will be better than a year round programs.

It is difficult to group all one day events and all recurring events together. Consideration should be given to the participation of La Palma residents. The events that the least attendance should be cut first. There are also events that could be reduced in expenditure without eliminating, i.e., Concerts in the Park, Tree Lighting, Halloween Carnival.

They should take note and see which events La Palma residents use, I agree with Ms Houston, and Mr Sun, All these events are good for our community. The Hub and other programs I don't believe are utilized by our residents. Also is all the park and recreation staff paid, or do some of them volunteer? There's lot of waste there in the afternoons, and evenings.
